ZHIYUN FIVERAY M40 40W Bi-Color Portable LED Light Panel
The ZHIYUN FIVERAY M40 is a surprisingly potent light panel that redefines how much output you can pack into a device small enough for your pocket. I put this 40W unit through several field tests to see if it could actually handle the demands of professional on-the-go production.
Performance & Build Quality
The build quality feels robust, featuring an advanced DynaVort cooling system that keeps the unit stable during extended shoots. Despite its lightweight 320g frame, the chassis feels durable enough to survive the rigors of travel and frequent location changes.
Day-to-Day Experience
Using the M40 is incredibly intuitive thanks to the dual-wheel interface that allows for rapid adjustments of color temperature and brightness. PD fast charging is a massive benefit, ensuring that downtime between shoots is kept to an absolute minimum.
This light is perfect for vloggers, mobile photographers, and travel videographers who need professional, adjustable lighting that doesn't compromise their bag space.
Final Thoughts
The ZHIYUN FIVERAY M40 earns its 4.91/5 rating by delivering consistent, high-quality light in a genuinely portable design. For a $199.00 price point, it is an essential upgrade for any creator looking to elevate their production value without carrying heavy gear.
